P.S. Cafe @ Harding Road .......... Apart from their good dessert, meals are good too!

Hidden in a little world of its own along Harding Road and around the edge of Dempsey Hill, this PS Cafe outlet stands out as one of the more popular eateries in this area. (P.S. is actually Project Shop in short) The abundance of lush greens in the area, near to Orchard and yet out of its bustle, are reasons why people just patronise this place, either to graze in the morning sun while enjoying breakfast or enjoying the relaxed cosy ambience while having dinner. PS Cafe is one of the few pioneer F&Bs that recognise the potential of this place before the other start to throng the area. If you visit this PS Cafe Harding, you'll understand why its still carving out a niche area away from the distractions of the other F&Bs up Dempsey Hill.

Main entrance into PS Cafe Harding ........ You can see the waiting area where folks who's not having mains at night can still enjoy their desserts and beverages around the bar counter. PS Cafe @ Harding provides alfresco dining. I've brought my American friend here for an alfresco breakfast before. He and his wife absolutely liked the place. I think it's the works of the Singapore sun! ........

The main dining area right in front of the kitchen. Here you can see PS Cafe's characteristic "specials" on the wall where their staff will painstakingly write out the day's specials on the wall with chalk. This serves as their interior decor as well ..........

The following are food that we tucked in last Saturday night......

One of the signature is the PS Cafe Caesar Salad. Lettuce, eggs, raisins, croutons, bacon ........

My Cod Fish Fillet with curried cauliflower and topped with tomatoes. It is quite unique experience to the taste buds. When you have the portion of the cod that is not tainted with the curry, you'll be enjoying the western bit of this dish. As you venture further, the curreid cauliflower with the cod fish may bring you memory flash backs of curried fish dishes you may have at Muthu's curry. An interesting dish indeed! .........

Smoked Fish Filo Basket. Flaked Trout & White Fish Fillet with Fennel, Onion & Potato Baked with Creamy King Island Cheddar Bechamel Sauce in a Crispy Shell served with a Grilled Prawn & Rustic Salad. This is a Dish for the cheese lover. My friend ordered this dish which she let me "tax" a few bites .........

How can we leave this place without trying their popular deserts. Sometimes I just feel that more people come for their desserts than their mains.

The Banana Mango Crumble, one of the popular dessert that has big slices of mango and chunks of banana right underneath the crumble's crust. Dig Deep with your spoon for the treasures! ..........

This Ultimate Fudgy Brownie is the "Must Have" for the sweet toothed. Thick chocolate fudge with plenty of mushmellows embedded within. The vanilla ice cream is the most bland ingredient for this dessert. If you'll like to have this please leave more space in your stomach .........

Cost : about S$45 per person

Address : 28B Harding Road. Near Dempsey Hill.
